Suitcase

Got my suitcase!!! Should start packing soon. The closer the date gets, the more unreal and unprepared and nervous I feel.

Waiting for my host family information is torturous too, I want to know what kind of family I get!!

THIRTEEN MORE DAYS (including today)

Panicking because my plans haven't worked out haha (sobbing). I haven't really planned where I'm going in Tokyo yet and I haven't packed yet and I don't know much to exchange ahead of time yet!??!

I figure our local bank has a better exchange rate than Narita Airport does, I checked yesterday and $1 is about 99 yen at Narita Airport and I googled if I went through bank it'd be $1 is 102.48 yen which makes all the difference when exchanging higher amounts.

Travel guides

I'm not leaving for Japan until August but I thought I'd do some research. I went to the library a couple times this week and each time I kept accumulating more and more travel guide books. A lot of them say the same things but I think it'd be good to use them as references so I have a good plan for when I travel. August can't come fast enough...
